My DD is 2 she usually sleeps through the night so I do as well - unless she wakes up in the middle of the night I do not either.

Do you wake up in the middle of the night to check on your toddler?

Nope. I sleep through the night. It never even occurred to me to check on her. I do, however, still keep her monitor on.

I am a light sleeper so if Michaels gets up I hear him other than that I sleep through the night.

Not usually. Though, we keep her door closed, so I *always* hear, no matter what time of night, when she leaves her room because it's quite loud when she turns the knob.

No - even if I wake up, no chance in heck of me running the risk of waking DD by opening her door!

My DS is 21 months. i never check him during the night unless he wakes up for something. I wouldn't dare to try and get in and out of his room - Im afraid I would wake him and he wouldnt go back to sleep! We have creaky floors...

If I wake up I am afraid to make a peep so as to not wake him!

I check on DS before I go to bed for the night.
I don't in the middle of the night, but, I still keep the monitor next to me on my night table.

Amen! Chat Icon

Actually, in the week or two following her seizure my DH would go in and check nightly before bed. Even if she did pass out after another seizure I'm not sure what he was going to find to alert him to a problem? Chat Icon

Nope. Only if they are really crying from a dream or something and it doesn't look like they are going back to sleep.

DD tends to sleep light and will wake up and walk around the house. We put bells on her door and she's figured out how to open her door very slowly so they don't ring. Just last night I woke up at 4:30am to find her staring at me.

Nope not usually, but if my front door was open, even a crack, you better believe I would be checking on both of them.

I have a video monitor on him still. If he makes noise I wake up. I only occasionally physically go in the room to check on him after the bedtime check.

No, not in the middle of the night. But I do check on her before I go to bed at about 11 pm. I also leave the monitor on.

We check on him before we go to bed and that's it. We do not leave the monitor on during the night. We can hear him if he wakes up.

I only go into her room when she calls for us...her door is shut. I also have a some freakish luck that Bella doesn't get out of her bed and waits for us....

Nope. Never have. Once that door is closed it stays closed.

I have a monitor w/ video if I need to "check"

Same for us...just by turning the door knob to DS's room, he starts to stir.

I check on her a couple times before I go to bed. But once I'm in bed, that's it. I too have the monitor to hear her just in case.
