Re: Spinoff to not wanting to be induced - C-Section
I am not opposed to either. I had a scheduled C...which was my choice because DS was measuring big and I wasnt progressing. I had DS on his EDD and he was 9lb 14oz. I feel I made the right decision for me and my family and I have no regrets.
All I can say is do what you and your Dr feel is best. If you are comfortable with your decision then that is what matters.
My c/s was fantastic. I feel that because it was scheduled my body had a pretty easy healing process. I was up the next day feeling pretty good, went home from the hospital when DS was 3 days old and never took any pain meds and I didnt need any assistance in caring for DS despite the surgery. I was beyond nervous as I have never even has stitches forget about surgery.
But again this was just my experience. I have friends who had horrible recoveries from both v-births and c/s...you just never know which is why you have to do what you feel is the best thing for your and your baby!
