Well, I still consider myself a city person... I lived in Gramercy (26th b/t 2nd & 3rd) for 6 years and the UES (63rd b/t 2nd & 3rd) for 2 years... but now in live a mere 2 miles away in Hoboken. I work in the Soho/Greenwich Village area.

I moved out in Oct of 2004
I lived there from 2002- 2004- then I got engaged- and my hubby didn't want to stay in the city with me- so he dragged me off to Long Beach for 2 years

Just bought a place on 37th and 2nd after living on 14th and A for a few years. I am readjusting to Murray Hill (I lived close by after college) but I LOVED living in East Village. Unfortunately, we could not find anything worth buying there...

I'm from Queens (Fresh Meadows), then I lived in Bay Ridge, now we are back in Fresh Meadows but are looking at moving to either New Palz or Westchester.

I am going to answer since we just moved to LI two weeks ago (back for me, first time for DH).
We lived in Dyker Heights, then Bayside, then Staten Island for 3 years.

I'll play even though I'm an Island Girl now!
I grew up on 69th and 2nd... lived in the Hunter dorms on 25th and 1st, them moved to Park Slope...
Then I moved to Huntington, LI, then to Vermont  then back to Huntington... Now Northport...
wow - just summed up the last 33 yrs of my life in one post!!!
