I voted "Can't stand him -- I am anxiously anticipating his end of term" but even that doesn't cover the depth of my disgust & hatred for him.

I used to Like Him But now I cant stand Him. I mean he could have done things differently to make this world a better place to live in and tried to avoid wars.

Re: Spinoff to Ron's joke....(poll)
I cannot believe that this country re-elected him. I waited in line for over two hours to vote in the presidential election in 2004 to get him out of office. Manhattan voted 84% in favor of Kerry, but the rest of the country obviously doesn't get it..

I definately agree that worse is definately to come...
And I can't blame Bush completely -- I do recognize that the past presidencies had much to do with it also. You don't just mess things up overnight...
However I do feel that he PI$$ED a lot of people off and did things without full justification....moreso then was done before him .....
and for that I am very fearful. I think we've lost a lot of respect ... support ... and angered a lot of people who shouldn't be angry at us....

Kerry? maybe a lesser of two evils.
maybe.
it was definitley slim pickings in 2004.

well i guess i just can't understand why anyone would lose respect for an entire nation for what one 2 term leader did..
Just like i do not hold all the Iraqi's accountable for what Saddam did..
Leaders come and go...
And i still whole heartedly believe that the US is no where near disgraceful...

We certainly might not be able to understand a lack of respect for ALL americans because of our leader ... but it doesn't mean that there aren't people out there who equate their ill-feelings around what Bush and a lot of other politicians have done recently with feelings of dis-respect for our country as a whole...
And I should correct myself --- or at least clear up what wasn't clear ... my FIL's family hasn't lost respect for our entire country --- just for Bush as a president ....
but that doesn't mean that there aren't people out there who have.
We may see things as "rational" but it doesn't mean that everyone else sees it our way...

but to the people who actually do think this way...

definitely lesser of two evils... I think people really just wanted Bush out of the White House. He's such a bumbling idiot.

if he was the lesser of the two evils he would have won by a landslide....that is if thats what the PEOPLE thought
and by the votes i would say that just wasn't the case..
Democrates didn't put up a good candidate..
AND imo that says a friggin lot..
THAT the race was THAT close..
meaning this country pretty much STILL backed our current president sooo much that the vote was that close..If he was really that terrible..ONE WOULD presume there wouldn't be such a narrow margin

However the way people in our country viewed him was significantly changing right after the elections IMO. I think that if the electoins had occured 6 months or a year later the outcome would have been much different.

i HIGHLY doubt that
Kerry isn't someone that the people really wanted..
as people said above he was the "lesser of to evils"
Democrats made a mistake that year
