Spinoff to the Swine Flu
I was up early getting ready to go to work & had the TV on. We never have the TV on in the morning because it's too hard to get the kids ready & out of the house. But, it was 6am, so I figured I'd catch up as I was making my bed.
Anyway, Joseph wakes up & says "You're not allowed to have the TV in the morning." I explain that I'm an adult & when he has his own house, he can pick & choose his rules.
Of course, the top story - the swine flu. He is amazed (and not getting dressed like I asked, but I digress). He asks a few pointed questions about dying from it, where it is, is it close to us, etc. Then as they are discussing it, the flash the symptoms in the background (fever, aches, sore throat). Now that he's 7, he can read.
So he says "Mom. I have a sore throat. I don't think I should go to school today."
Nice try.
So my question is...is it wrong to fake fever & chills on the train ride home so I get my own seat?

You can do what one of my friends in Cali did.....sneeze a lot and speak spanish. He had the whole train car to himself.

 Forget about your own seat - I think you would have your own train car! I say go for it - freak everyone out! A little rush-hour fun!
