SPR - What would you do?
Since about the 4th or 5th month of my pregnancy, my hands swelled to the point that wearing my wedding bands and e-ring were no longer an option. The swelling has obviously disappeared, but the last 10 pounds haven't. Where I'm getting back to exercising, I really don't know when or if I'll ever be back to "normal". My body has completely changed so I'm wondering... would you take the chance and have the rings sized bigger and take the chance that MAYBE (and I stress maybe) I'll get back to "normal" weight and then they'll end up being too big?
I hate not being able to wear them! I only got to enjoy them for so long

Re: SPR - What would you do?
I would wait. My fingers also swelled pretty early on in my pg. It took a few months before the swelling went completely down. I think DD was almost 3 months old by the time my rings fit again. Now they are totally back to normal. Even though I had lost most of the weight, the swelling was still around a little bit longer.

Re: SPR - What would you do?
I would wait a bit.
My fingers swelled so much from the beginning that DH had bought me a bigger size plain wedding band. And in the end, I had to stop wearing that one too. I was just able to wear the bigger size band last week at 4 weeks PP.
I am hoping to be able to wear them again "soon".
I mentioned the resizing to DH and we decided to wait a few months. I will give myself 6 months then I will resize them if they still don't fit. One co-worker was able to wear hers again after 5-6 months PP.

Bella isn't 8 weeks yet, right? I couldn't get my rings back on until 8 weeks pp.
I'd wait it out until she is at least 3 months old...it is also summer and it is natural to swell in the summer when you aren't pregnant.

Re: SPR - What would you do?
I waited about 6 months and although my swelling disappeared, my fingers remained larger so I got them re-sized. Give your self a couple of months and then see.

My fingers are still slightly bigger, but I can wear them they are just more snug then they used to be. Give it alittle more time.

Re: SPR - What would you do?
I am not going to try putting on my rings until the summer is over. I figure that we naturally swell in the summertime anyway. If they don't fit in Sept. then I will have them made bigger.
I miss wearing them too. I feel so naked without them.

I miss wearing mine too. And was thinking of this exact thing. My band seems soo tiny now.
Good question.
