SPR: When or did you turn the heat on yet???
DD's room is right above the garage so it's the coldest fastest, so I'm being overly anal and want to to turn on the heat and DH thinks I'm nuts

I WANT to but DH would kill me. The house is warm though with all the windows shut. We actually cracked the windows last night because the air inside was so dry.

We have our heat set for 68 and have since it got colder at night. DSs room is the same, and I don't want him too cold.

no heat for us either....DD seems to sleep better when its colder in her room. I actually left her window open last night by accident (bad mommy) and she hardly stirred at all!

i just noticed this in DS's room too. no heat yet - but he is in long-sleeved PJs and a fleece sleep sack. it's just not cold enough for the heat, and the whole house would be way too hot!

See it's weird, DD is a hot hot baby she sweats a lot, but she sleeps better when she's warm than cold...

the room ds is in still is at the same temp that it was when the ac is on so i am not too worried... we actually still had the ac on the other night since it was 80 degrees in his room

Probably not till it gets down to 65 inside the house, which would be around when it is 50 degrees or lower outside.

I had all of the bedroom windows to the security locks last night. My house really holds heat----unless it is the dead of winter---then it holds nothing...LOL

Not for awhile. It's warmer upstairs where the bedrooms are and the main floor and den are around 65 degrees which feels great to me!

Same here, but we also have the opposite situation as you; DSs room is the warmest in the house. If he were in the coldest room, I'd at least have a space heater going (even though I am sure DH would be rolling is eyes). I don't think you are being anal at all, it's not like they can pull up the covers if they are cold.

Oh Gosh, I still sleep with the A/C on and the fan is always going in DS's room cause he is a hot sleeper and with his door closed it gets even hotter in there...It will be a long while before the heat is on here...

No way! We honestly don't turn our heat on until usually Nov. at the earliest. Sometimes Dec. depending on the weather and how cold it gets out. We keep our house cold (around 63-64) even with heat on so I'm in no rush for the heat to go on right now. I'm enjoying having the windows open and the house filled with crisp, chilly air.
