Stab in the dark: Anyone know someone who lost a monthly LIRR ticket?
A friend found a monthly ticket (not Mail & Ride) ticket this morning. I'm getting more details about if you can identify the line/station/train....
I'd be devastated at spending hundreds of dollars for another ticket. I'm glad he's not cashing it in & making the effort.

Maybe its from the theif that stole my Debit information and decided to buy monthly passes and decided to throw it on the floor before the cops found him.

DH is a ticket agent for the LIRR. You can turn it into any station and the clerk or agent can read the ticket and see where it was purchased. Also, they will turn it into Lost & Found and try to locate the owner if it was purchased with a credit card.

oh and just as a PSA:
DH told me that everyone should SIGN their monthly tickets. This way if it is lost and turned into Lost & Found, if you call it will be returned to you!
