Awwww! I have moments like this too.

I often talk with my mom about how different I am now compared to the first two weeks when she was staying with us!!

I felt the same way. We were so nervous once the moms left (and I mean really left, we live in NC, they went back to NY). DH and I were both home for 2 months, but still, those first couple nights when we needed to figure out stuff on our own-we were so worried we wouldn't be able to figure it out you would have thought we were 16 year olds rather than mature adults in our 30s.

ETA: it's so funny to look back and see how far we've come!

Awww Steph...time flies for sure...your DD is growing up so fast. I get nostalgic at times as well and read my pre-pregnancy posts and when I went into labor and my birth story. The first few weeks were so rough and scary, but then it all clicked and its amazing how your life changes...all for the better. Its time for me to return to work on Monday after being off for 3.5 months...
