Re: Stolen from the CF board....do you or would you bring dc to a "bar"
We brought to a bar/pub for lunch and we did bring him into a bar to meet some friends. Friends of DH were playing darts and it was a Tues so we stopped by so they could meet him. There were only like 10 people there and we knew half of them so it was more of a gathering.

If it is a bar/restaurant, and during early dinner time, yes, so long as there is a separate dining area away from the bar.

Yep. (and both my kids have their Canterbury Ales bibs to prove it. )
If they have high chairs & booster seats, then I take it the establishment is ok with having children in there.

same here
On the same note, if SOMEONE ELSE brought their kids into a bar, I really wouldn't think much about it. There are bigger things in life that bother me, getting upset about someone else's kids in a bar is a waste of effort for me. JMO.

I would bring her for a meal but I would not bring her to a sports bar on a football Sunday. Shoot, I HATE football, why should I subject her to that.
Im also a non-drinker so going to bars is pointless for me.
If there were smoking in bars, no chance.

Re: Stolen from the CF board....do you or would you bring dc to a "bar"
DS came into a bar with me and DH once when my DS was dropping me off for an annual college reunion. They came in, said hello and left. It was mainly because DH had to use the bathroom!!!!!!
