Stressing out about scheduling
My son loves football and really wants to play. This is his first year and I was surprised to find out it is 4 days per week.
Then he has religion with his best friend one day which is the same day as one of his football practices. Only 15 minutes between, giving him barely enough time to travel and change and he would not be able to eat dinner until 8 pm! He could have a snack before practice.
He is begging me to keep him in the same religion class as his best friend, but I just don't see how this will work. Of course football ends in November leaving him with the rest of the yr of religion.
Add cubscouts to the mix and my head is spinning.
What would you do about the religion class?
He is only in first grade. Input would be greatly appreciated.
Anyone else feeling overwhelmed with schedule??
TIA

Re: Stressing out about scheduling
I don't have boys and I don't know about football, but just by reading your post, I'm thinking "football practice in 1st grade?? and if there is football practice 4 days a week???" I'm not sure why they do that? Sorry, I'm not help but it does sound like a lot, unless both he is having lot of fun and it's not stressful on you.
