How long after your mc did you becme pregnant again? Feeling a bit down and hoping to hear success stories!

I had a miscarriage in August and I am pregnant again! (8 weeks) And lots of others that used to be on here with me are now on the pregnancy boards. Don't get discouraged- it will happen for you. If you are concerned, make an appt with an RE. They will monitor you more than an OB-GYN would. Good luck!! Stay positive mama!

I had a mc at 24 weeks on 5/19/2010. My third DS was born on 5/16/11! So I guess I took three months off. Good luck.

I know I told you yesterday, but I'll tell you again to give you hope...I miscarried at 11 weeks in March 2011. Was pregnant again in Sept. 2011. My DD is 10 months.

I had a miscarriage last November. I found out I was pregnant again in September. It took us about 8 months to get pregnant again, but I am now 31 weeks and baby is doing great. It will be different for everyone on the timeframe to get pregnant again, but it will happen.

I did not have an easy time getting pregnant after my losses, unfortunately.

First loss: 17 1/2 weeks August 2010

My next pregnancy was not until January 2011 which was a chemical.

My pregnancy after that was in March 2011, but we lost them (triplets) in May 2011.

That's where things got tricky......


My lining was absolutely terrible and was not repairing itself. I got pregnant in November 2011, but we lost that baby too the following month.

At that point, my RE along with many other opinions I went to agreed that my lining was terrible and it was likely it would never repair. We took my RE's advice and went the gestational surrogacy route. In that time, my body took nearly a year long break (something I never would have allowed myself if not for surrogacy because I was ALWAYS jumping cycle to cycle).

Well, finally after that year long break for my body with surrogacy, we had 2 canceled surrogate cycles and I decided to give my body another chance.

My lining had completely repaired itself and then some. (it was even better than before!)

I got pregnant with twins but lost on just shy of 7 weeks. I'm currently almost 18wks pregnant with my and all looks great!


For me, the time off did wonders for my body, although emotionally it was very hard

I had a lost in November 2003 at 28 weeks. We conceived 2 months later(not trying) and had a healthy baby boy in September of 2004.

I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks in May 2012 and got pregnant again in October 2012.. I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant.

I had a m/c in 2007, had a in 2008, had a m/c in 2010, then a in 2012. I'm now 7 1/2 weeks with #3. I always m/c at 8-9 weeks so I'm nervous right now but hopeful. I look at my kids and know they were the ones I was waiting for and, in hindsight, it was all worth it.

5 losses from Oct 2010 to March 2012... DD is almost 6w old.

I'm a true believer in letting your body heal and while its SOO hard not to jump into trying immediately after. I had my first loss at 13 weeks in June 2011. Jumped into trying again and had a chemical pregnancy in September 2011. Then another loss in March 2012 at 6 weeks. I waited more the next time and got by BFP in July 2012. Here I am at 37 weeks. It *WILL* happen. Stay positive!!!

2 losses and one healthy almost 5 month baby girl from February 2011. Dd born oct 30. Get pregnant very easy. Found out I have a blood clotting issue and once diagnosed I was on lovenox and kept my dd

I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks in June 2008. I then got pregnant with my daughter ( now almost four) in September 2008. Keep the hope. That's what got me through the miscarriage.

Had miscarriage in March 2011, was pregnant again at the very beginning of September 2011. DD is now 10 months old. Good luck to you!!!!!

I had surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy on October 4th. I was pregnant again in early november! That is with having my left tube removed...keep the faith!!

I had a very early m/c in Sept (no D&C needed). I got pregnant in November (via IUI).

Hi there-

I was able to get pregnant just 2 months after my m/c and had a pretty healthy and uneventful pregnancy afterwards.

Now I'm pregnant with DC #2 and of course I think constantly about another m/c. Sadly, it never leaves our minds.

MC in May 2011, got pregnant again that October. Now have a healthy 9mo dd.

I hope you're doing ok. I remember feeling very down and discouraged. And even when I did get pregnant again, being scared the entire time.

Am thinking of you and all the other ladies on this board..

I had a VERY early MC in August 2012 and got pregnant again in October 2012. I am currently 29 weeks pregnant.

Good luck! It will happen. These girls are proof of that!

I first started trying September of 2009. Experienced 3 losses over the span of 8 months (also took a break throughout as well). Was pregnant with my DD (now 2 yrs old) May 2010

Hang in there. There are a LOT of success stories after one or more miscarriages.

I know its hard but hang in there u will get pg again soon - i had 6 losses in 2 years and then 2 more babies! and now Pg again....and hopeful....:)

Thanks all! Reading these definitely helps. I just had a MC this week at 6&1/2 weeks. Yesterday was extremely painful and it's so hard to think that you'll be lucky enough to get pregnant again.

It took me a year to get pregnant again but I had other issues and needed lap surgery and 3 months off. So overall it was 6 cycles or so.

All I have to say is hang in there and it will happen again and will be SUCH a blessing. I can't explain it but I know this is meant to be my baby and the wait was worth it. Plus it opened my eyes to what a miracle conception/pregnancy is and has made me be an extra loving, extra caring and extra patient mommy to my DD!
