switching health plans after baby
anyone have any experience with switching health plans after the baby comes?
We are currently on a plan through my office (Oxford Liberty) and it will be cheaper to us to get health insurance through DH's office once the baby is here. That plan would also be Oxford Liberty. So we wont need to find new doctors thankfully but I just worry about the logistics of it all.
Thanks.

are you already on your husband's plan as a secondary? i dont think it will be a problem at all since its the same company.
i've been using the insurance through my job as my primary but my husband added me to his as secondary when we got married (2 different insurance companies). the baby will be added to his insurance when she's born. and his insurance will become my primary since im not going back to work.

we are both currently on a plan through my office, to switch to his office's plan we'd be taking advantage of the change in status thing that allows you to make mid year changes to benefits.

We are doing this also.
While we are on the topic, does anyone have Blue Cross Blue Shield? What are the co pays like etc? TY
