talk about some bad luck
Things just keep getting worse and worse for DH and me...like to the point where we are happy if we go one day without something awful happening to us. I could really use some good luck vibes these days. I couldn't make this up if I tried:
1. Home buyer who first tells me she wants to close early (so we rush to find something else) backs out of contract - we are left with a mortgage and a lease. AND she is fighting for her down payment back.
2. Dog dies
3. Husband gets accused of murder!!!
4. Old realtor decides to be a pr*ck and gives Beth a hard time for using his pics for the new listing of my house. New ones are being taken.
Please please pray that my luck will change.

I hope things turn around real soon for you and DH. No one deserves all of this to happen especially at one time. I know all of it is horrible, but the murder thing would have been it for me. Good Luck in the future.

some of the people he used to work with thought it would be funny to call suffolk county police with an 'ananonomus tip' that he was connected to the LI murders. The police obviously take every tip they get seriously and questioned him.

That's terrible that people would waste the police's time on such a serious crime.

On the murder issue.. I hope those people are procecuted or at least charged with making a false report to the police. This is beyong a bad joke. Not acceptable to 1/ waste the police time 2/ have your DH' name as a potential suspect. His name will be forever in the file of the case. Cleared or not. WAY beyong a bad joke. I hope they go to jail as a lesson.
