I think everyone here has some great tips. I'll add some things that I do.

Go through your grocery circular and make a list. You can go to the grocery store and not impulse buy. If you had a list and are focused to get all those items, you'll make it through the store. You'll probably save a lot doing that rather than peapod.

I pack a lunch for both me and DH for work.

I cook, a lot.

I buy items that are on sale (mostly meats) in bulk and freeze it.

Pay attention to prices.

Only keep one CC in your wallet for an emergency.

Keep a limit of cash in your wallet.

If you have the tendency to use your debit card because you don't have the cash, take it out of your wallet and leave it home.

Kids don't need $50 gifts, you can get so many toys for half the amount. Limit yourself to $25 per kid.

If you are giving gifts to adults, stop and buy $10 in lotto scratch offs and put them in the card. Or bring a cheap, but yummy bottle of wine. That's what we do.

Do a secret santa during the holidays.

When you go to Target, go with a purpose and time yourself! (Believe me, I know how evil that store can be Chat Icon)
