Target Missoni line
I stopped in the Target in Farmingdale this morning to get an iced coffee...I was a little surprised at how crowded the parking lot seemed, since it was only 830a. I walk inside and I see a group of women on line with about 8 carts filled with the new Missoni products. I was told they were at the doors when Target opened with a group of friends and literally wiped out the whole line! There was another woman screaming at her saying what she was doing was borderline illegal...which the woman purchasing all the products replied. 'this is America, I can do whatever I want!'. YIKES!
From what I saw in her carts...the stuff looked really cute. I'm sure she plans on selling it all on EBAY 
I think Target's website is down because so many people are trying to get on to buy this stuff. CRAZY!!

Thats crazy. Seriously. No matter how cute the line is i refuse to buy anything from someone who purposely overbought at the store. while I know its america and free country and whatnot I still think it is completely rude for people to do that.
Esp since I have been trying to get online to shop all freakin morning and the site is down!!!!!!

I agree...I think it stinks that she bought EVERYTHING. Yes...this is America...but damn...did she need to be so greedy!
I don't understand why it's a 'limited time only' line...why not just make it a permanent line at Target??? Clearly, there's a market for it.

I find it so funny how everyone is going nutso for this line although I was up at 6:30 and bought 2 tops before it crashed

I like some of the pieces I've seen, but my fear is that everybody and their momma is going to be wearing it because of all the hype the line has received. People won't have to ask "That's really cute! Where did you get it?" because either they saw the commercials or they own it.

I am lost on this one too. I work around the corner fromthe store they opened on 42nd just for this line and I still have no idea what it is.

I FINALLY just got in- fortunately I had the stuff I wanted in my cart but the scarf I wanted was sold out. I got two sleeveless sweaters to wear over blouses/turtlenecks- one in black and white and one in color. I was thinking about popping into my local Target later but it seems like the stuff will be cleared out. But I bet the stuff will be on eBay at absurdly inflated prices.

I love Missoni, so I got on at 6am and bought some stuff before the site crashed.
A $50 dress is a steal compared to their normal prices of $800 for a dress!
And I got the ballet flats, I think they are so cute.
The reason why it is limited time only is to keep it as a one off and thus making it more special. But I agree I think it's rude to buy it all up and sell on ebay, but it did cross my mind if I had the time or energy. You would make a killing.

Yes, Missoni is a high end Italian fashion house that has been around since the 50s.
Missoni at Saks
Target has these "guest" lines they do this from time to to time, but I guess Missoni is a little fancier than they usually get. I don't like this line-too many stripes! I kind of like the luggage, but it is sold out.

Not all Target stores are carrying everything. I love it ! My daughters love it! The material is so smooth also. I was in Bay Shore and the teacups sold out while they were taking them out of the box!
Missoni is a high end line and extremely popular in Europe

Do you think Target should have put a per customer limit on these items? I mean, one person showing up with a posse to buy up the whole lot is just like a ticket scalper. Kind of not fair.
I'm not even sure if Target is legally allowed to put a limit on purchases...but it would have been nice if other people would have been able to buy a piece or two.
I'm guessing if Target restocks...these same 'hoarders' will be there once again, with their posse in tow.
