There's a TON of stuff on Ebay already...going for crazy high prices. No way I would buy $34 Target boots for $250. I'd just save my pennies and buy the real thing!

I stopped in the Target in Farmingdale this morning to get an iced coffee...I was a little surprised at how crowded the parking lot seemed, since it was only 830a. I walk inside and I see a group of women on line with about 8 carts filled with the new Missoni products. I was told they were at the doors when Target opened with a group of friends and literally wiped out the whole line! There was another woman screaming at her saying what she was doing was borderline illegal...which the woman purchasing all the products replied. 'this is America, I can do whatever I want!'. YIKES!
From what I saw in her carts...the stuff looked really cute. I'm sure she plans on selling it all on EBAY 
I think Target's website is down because so many people are trying to get on to buy this stuff. CRAZY!!

People are so obnoxious and need to calm down. I mean its cool and everything but why would anyone spend so much more?

Ok so I finally got into the sale online and there is more stuff left then I expected... I have to say that I really do not love the clothes. I feel like I would buy the stuff and then never wear it. Maybe its b/c I have a number of M Missoni pieces and I just feel like these don't compare? What do you all think? I do like the iPhone case and some of the housewares...

I went back at lunchtime to do some shopping, NOTHING left. I saw the cashier who rung the hoarder up and she said the granch total was just over $8K!!!!! She also said they were sayiing some they are giving as xmas gifts, but most they are selling. Whatever they can't sell...they just return w/i 90 days.
She also said they were calling friends who where at other Target locations...so, they had this racket planned out! Crazy!

I like some of the pieces I've seen, but my fear is that everybody and their momma is going to be wearing it because of all the hype the line has received. People won't have to ask "That's really cute! Where did you get it?" because either they saw the commercials or they own it. 
This is why I won't buy it!

Anyone who pays that much is a fool. Is it really that great? Now I know how the woman in front of me in line spent $1200.

Hahah I thought the same thing! I was there this morning at around 8:30 to get the babies cereal and the place was insane, people yelling at people but honestly women were walking around like you said with carts full of the stuff sizes that didn't even fit them and honestly the stuff was pretty ugly if you ask me!

I like it a lot. The mix and matching of solids and zig zags, the girls clothes are adorable

OMG this is so funny! bc I was looking at the line online yesterday just to see what all teh buzz was about, DH saw it and he started joking how the clothes are perfect for Halloween

i know the brand, but honestly think the clothes are absolutely hideous
every time i see the commercials, the clothes remind me of the photos of my mom from the early 70's and the really ugly clothes she wore back then!
I wonder if the brand name was not associated with it, if the clothes would be as popular. Wondering if some people may pretend to like the stuff just because of the name brand, not because they actually like the patterns?

I hear you, but even the regular line is SOOOOO patterny. You can spot something Missoni from a mile away. Zig zags and colors galore.
I really have never understood why people love it. (But then again, I usually wear all black and jeans. I'm pretty boring)
Those tight long dresses with wacky zig zags hug in all my fat places and make my eyes hurt.
To each their own. I wouldn't pay $36 for the rainboots - nevermind hundreds/thousands!

I am not a label whoree kinda gal but if something is really for the Target line then eventhough it is Missoni isn't it like not really high end? I mean everyone will know you bought the Target one so essentially it is like buying anything else from Target..just sayin lol

I just called two Targets because I want a scarf. The hoarders bought them out. Little do they know, but Target will keep re-shipping until the middle of October when they discontinue the line. If anyone actually buys this **** from these arseholes, they deserve what they get. I would faster go to the outlets and buy something from the regular Missoni line.
I must also say, as a Missoni fan, I found quite a few of the items to be fug.

I feel the regular lines are more subdued...if that's at all possible. I haven't seen all the Target items, but it seems much more bold in color and less intricate in detail, making it obvious that it's Missoni for Target, so no one will be fooled that you're wearing a 1300 Missoni dress.

If I would had known this things where going to sell like this I would had bought some items lol. I am OOT and I went to target last night and they still had a bunch of shoes left (flats and rain boots etc) and a couple of skirts. I was checking for flats but they are cute but the quality was not that great.

I actually love the home line and kids clothing more than some of the womans clothing line. I really wanted a throw b/c i love how colorful they are but obviously those are sold out online. I will probably pop into one of the stores to see if anything new came in. I saw on ebay they had an umbrella and stationary.
