TD bank charges for change return now
Dh went to the bank to exchange the change we saved and he found out since "November" they are charging for it! We had a total of 142 and got 134.. I'm sorry but i thought they were not suppose to charge.. Thats wrong. I guess thats Just me.

that happened to us. if u have an account there u wont be charges. i know some places will charge to use there service if u don't have an account there

That stinks, but as long as they inform you before you are charged, I don't see it being "wrong". Lots of places charge a percentage for their services.

they have been doing it for a while now and there are signs on the machines that tell you there will be a 6% charge if you do not have an account with them.

Last week, I lugged all my spare change to a CoinStar machine instead so that I don't get charged a fee. They don't charge you a fee as long as you exchange your coins for an e-gift certificate. I took my change and turned it into an Amazon gift certificate 
If you turn the coins into anything other than a gift certificate, they will charge you a fee.

They only charge if you dont have an acct. They did it because the machine was tied up all the time and bank customers never could use it.
They started charging in November so its not that new.
