a LOT of parents these days are giving for HS graduation presents--breast implants to their daughters. i dunno how i feel about that---i mean it just seems like a bit much for someone who is young and their body is going to continue to change a bit up until about 20-21.
i agree.
i feel like i didn't really "come into my own" until i was like 21 - maybe even 22ish. if i were to have made any decisions regarding PS before that time i think it would not have been wise because i wasn't "done" yet, KWIM?
i am all for wanting something you feel you need to improve your confidence - but it, like maturity, comes with age.

I think it depends on the situation. I had a friend who got one done at 18... but she was extremely lopsided (A cup on one side, D on the other). She wanted to get it done before college when she had to deal with roommates, etc. noticing her 'lamb chop' (prosthetic).
In her case I see no problem with it.
Yes good point and I totally agree. In this case I can totally understand. The girls that "just want to look better in clothes" is another story.
yes - i agree w/ this also - of course, it depends on the case.

Re: Teens and breast augmentation
I didn't read the article because I just don't agree that teens and breast augmentation should even be in the same sentence...
