Telling people you are TTC?

I have told a few of my women friends that we are TTC (those women are already pregnant). DH knows I have confided in them for support and questions. Those are the only people we (I) have told.

We decided not to tell our parents or friends right now. We usually just deflect the questions with "No kids now", "we have a fur baby" and move on.

Are you telling people that you are trying?

I didn't want the questions of why we weren't expecting yet.

Only 2 people know...my mom and my twin sister. I just don't think its anyone's business and I don't want people to hound us all the time asking if we are pregnant yet.

I've only told my cousin. DH hasn't told anyone. We don't want to deal with all the annoying questions.

I just told my 3 best girl friends and my sister. We didnt tell our parents yet, DH's mom wants a grand baby so badly and i feel bad not telling her.

At first I didn't tell anyone. One of my good friends confided in me that she was TTC and I felt funny not sharing it with her, so I told her. We ended up both getting pregnant after 4 cycles and were due 7 days apart. I m/c at 8.5 weeks, she has a healthy 9 week old . Her whole pregnancy was really hard on me and I get a little sad every time I see her baby.

I decided not to tell anyone when we were able to TTC again, but b/c of the m/c some people asked. After a few months I told some people. Now, 16 months after we started, I'm seeing an RE, still TTC and almost everyone knows what day DH and I . Oh how things change...

fam knows my bff knows and thats it...

except for the 5 docs i have seen and every the 3 pharmacies the meds come from and everyone at walgreens whetre i use to buy opks

My immediate fam... Sister bros and parents know were trying again in aug.... And my 4 best friends....

Yes, My mom, sis and sister in law...no one else.

We didn't when we initially started last April but I had a m/c in Nov and had to lean on my family and some friends. So now people know we are trying. It has definitely increased the stress level.

I told one friend who was also TTC and shared her journey with me. I preferred keeping things private.

I've only told my BFF, otherwise, nobody knows. Not even my mom.

I think that it is the stress from other people and the questions that I do not want to have.
I rather answer the "You're pregnant ?

Only 2 friends know, and DH of course . I have no plans to tell anyone else. I really think people wouldn't be supportive in general, at least in my situation.

No we are not telling people for the most part. I struggled with telling my mom because I really wanted to (and because I had to tell SOMEONE), but was afraid she would either be unhappy about it, or would start looking at me funny every time she saw me. But I did tell her, and so far she has been really good about it. Sometimes I forget she knows.

My mom has an idea but i have never confirmed it or really spoken to her about it. Besides her NO ONE knows at all. Just you guys!!!

I have told three good friends, and my cousin and DH has told two of his good friends...ever since we got married everyone keeps saying we would make good parents, and its hard not to say..."Well we want to be"

I never really told anyone other than my mom, sister and mentioned to my BFF prior to seeing a RE. Now I've told a few friends who have gone through IF. It's a great support system.

only one girlfriend knows. she's about to start ttc as well. otherwise i dont want my mom to worry.

I've told three people at work and my sister. I want to tell everyone but i don't want to obsess anymore than I'm already doing and they will prob make it worse. (I'm the only woman within childbearing age at work)

I told 2 girls at work because they have been there through a lot of things and there BTDT moms and I needed advice. We have not told anyone else.
