If gun control laws tighten up, that guy would not have said hmmmm it is against the law now to go buy this gun so I am not going to use it. He would have bought it anyway from a black market gun dealer. I am not saying that the current laws should not be looked over, all I am saying is by making them stricter you are not stopping some psycho path who wants to kill from killing.
On top of his other problems Adam Lanza was a p*ssy. Not typically the type to go out and make a back alley gun deal. But I applaud your standing up for his mum's easy access to assault weapons. And waving away the reality that the laws being considered RIGHT NOW would have kept those guns, or those types of guns out of her household. You're a true patriot.
How do you know he was a *****? He went into a school and shot it up, how ***** could he possibly be? The guy had this planned, he would have found a way, and if your in denial of that then you must live in la la land.

You made my point. You can't compare laws regarding crack, hookers, and knockoff bags to gun laws.
And gun laws did prevent him from purchasing a gun. He tried to buy one but there was a waiting period. So he used his mother's guns. If he had lived in a state with fewer gun laws, he would have been able to take home that gun he tried to purchase in a matter of minutes.

Ok , so I have to ask the question ... Do you ACTUALLY think that any stricter gun control will prevent these animals from obtaining guns and Killing..????? IT WILL NOT.
DRUGS are ILLEGAL yet they are a major issue in society and kill thousands everyday.
GUNS are NOT the problem here... PEOPLE are the problem and no matter how many restraints are put on GUNS a crazy low life crimanl will find a way to get their hands on one if they truley want to kill.
AND one other question... These laws that everyone thinks should be put into effect.... Would these laws have stopped Adam Lanza from getting his hands on those guns ...... NOPE!!!!!!! and why ????? Because the guns were registered to HIS MOTHER!!!! And were fully legal. So this goes back to my point of NO MATTER WHAT , a crazy person will find a way wether it be as easy as it was for Adam Lanza or be it not so easy, to kill if that is their intention!!!!!!

It's kind of funny bc you posted on the alex jones thread but many of your posts come off "alex jonesish" to me...in that they push propaganda based on opinion. That video you went on a rant about in the other thread...was a video about people handling guns legally, with proper paperwork etc. I watched waiting...waiting for something despicable to happen...and I gave up.
So many of your posts come off as crazy, condescending rants rather than anything productive. The way you speak to people doesn't help either. You really come off as someone who believes themselves to be a righteous authority on issues that you should need to "dispel any myths" for the rest of us lowly misinformed LIFers

I have no problem with gun control and better regulation...but don't sit here and say "nobody wants an outright ban" bc I think thats ********. Wether they can obtain an outright ban or not is another story...but don't sit there and say nobody wants one.
thats my only point here.
I want one. I also want world peace, and a baby elephant in my backyard. What exactly is the point of your point?

FYI NRA has a batch of proposed "model" legislation on deck.
One of them will effectively repeal the ban on machine guns that has been in place since '34. Machine guns. Full auto. Fully legal.
But we don't have a gun problem.

I just don't get where that comes from. Nobody has said that...we may debate what the problem's cause is or where it stems from but I don't think anyone has debated that there is indeed a problem
