HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
That's definitely DH and I. Couple of towels, the Sunday Times, some water...then head over to the bar afterward.
So refreshing

Right on.
When my bff gets her act together and can actually make it to the beach w me and her kids, it is such a production. I can understand why she rarely comes.but seems its a production for them to go anywhere really!

The whole production is not something I have an ounce of patience for. I don't like carrying a bag for myself, let alone all the extras that you need for a kid. Phone/keys/ID/debit card/lip balm. It all fits in my pockets, and off I go!
Guess I just like my culture of comfort. You hear that, Pope Francis?

The Beach: People with kids vs people without kids
This made me laugh, pretty spot on. We went on a family beach outting last week. 4 carloads of us. DH and I set up our tunes, chairs, blanket, some cold beers and watched the rest of them unload their 500 lbs of cr@p that their kids need, chasing them, yelling at them, feeding them, yelling at them, playing with them, yelling at them, wiping sand off their blanket for the 50th time, yelling at them, trying to sit again but having to get up and break up their fighting, yelling at them....wait, I know i'm forgetting something...oh yea, yelling at them again lol what is with that?? It's madness.

Re: The Beach: People with kids vs people without kids
This is so true and funny! I am fortunate enough to be divorced and have my kids only every other weekend. And yes there is a huge difference between a summer weekend with my bf alone and weekends when we have 3 kids!
