The icing on my 5 weeks of heII (Update on pg. 2)
My DD was born on 5/2, unexpectedly, 9 days before her scheduled c-section. Since then, I've had one problem after another: my incision opened twice, I got a clogged duct (which I got to resolve), I broke my toe on DH's boot, I haven't slept more than 4 hours in a night because DD would not go back to sleep after she woke to eat, I got a thrush infection on my nipples from pumping, DH had a complication from his surgery that was done in April, and now I got abscesses in both breasts. I had it drained in the Dr's office on Tuesday and it got worse that night and then they had to take me to the operating room and surgically drain it. I was in the hospital overnight and just got home today. I just can't take any more.
I had started decreasing my pumping so I could stop because I just knew I couldn't do it anymore, but I am still producing milk because I didn't get to completely wean. Now I'm just hoping I don't get infected again. My breasts are covered with bandages and the cold packs I'm using can't even really penetrate. I'm scared to death of going through what I have been through the past 5 days again. I have to go tomorrow to have the packing removed from my breast and am scared it is going to really hurt.
My MIL came to help us and she is taking care of both kids and won't let me do anything. Maybe I'll actually get some rest.
Please send me no pain vibes for tomorrow -- I just can't bear the thought of any more pain. Thanks.

Wow, I'm so sorry youve been having such a tough time. I'm glad your MIL has come to the rescue. Let her do it all, and try to get atleast one solid night of sleep.

 You've certainly been through A LOT in the last few weeks-- I hope the next 5 weeks (and more) are walks in the park compared to the first 5.
