Yup. We'll be seeing Ana Lucia's backstory tonight in addition to their first 42 days (or 44 or whatever it is).

I heard comments that Elko (i think that is his name) was on the island prior to the crash. That he was the nigerian drug runner who's plane crashed and that Boone died falling from.
ETA - This is not a spoiler, just something that has been speculated on.

I think we will learn a lot tonight about "the others". There is also speculation that a future episode this season will be dedicated to the island's backstory which might provide us with some additional story of its mysteries.

I thought tonight was supposed to be a longer episode? I just checked the guide and it runs until 10:04?? So what - we get a whole 4 extra minutes?

Im looking forward to seeing tonights episode, although Im starting to miss seeing the older folks, since we havent had any really developing deep story lines. Although seeing Ana miss puke puke is gonna upset me, because I cannt stand that charecter, its ones of those people you just want to reach through the TV and SMACK!

Yeah I was expecting 2 hours of Lost. I never knew an expanded episode meant 4 minutes. So does everyone think Shannon is dead?

This could also be Rose's husband because wasen't he in the front of the plane with Rose but went to the back to the bathroom when the plane crashed.
I want Desmond to come back...something about him really turned me on.

I was right! Goodwin is dead by stake. But I thought they said last time that the others got him. It sounds like she told them that he was a spy... like when she said they know our flight because goodwin knew our flight.
But if she noticed he was dry on that first day, why did she torture Nathan?
