Oh Kristen, I am just crying my eyes out for you.
Jason needs to know that it isn't anything he did wrong, and NEITHER of you deserve this heartache. I just pray that this condition will affect the baby as little as possible and that you guys will find the best way to deal with things.
You are and will continue to be in my prayers.

I am so sorry that you and your family are being faced with this. I know it's not what you dreamed or envisioned for your dear child or for your world. And it may not come to this because there are people out there who are only mildly affected by a missing callosum, but I'd like to delicately offer a piece of hope for whatever your outcome may be....I work with special needs children and adults and want to share something with you that I know to be true. I've spoken to many, many moms over the years and learned that yes, the families experience a tougher side of life, their dreams had to be radically modified and they have to grow into a much stronger version of themselves...but they also experience much greater joys and blessings than the rest of the world. Each child, regardless of disability or diagnosis is guaranteed to instill in you a sense of pride and deliver the sweetest smiles you can ever imagine. I know its' early in your process, but please know...through your tears.... that there is hope and there is happiness and light. It's not what you expected and that kills to the core....but there is a beautiful baby coming who will give you a lifetime of joy in a way you never dreamed of knowing. You will get through this and you will grow stronger as a result. Try not to lose sight of that.

I wanted to thak everyone for their continued support & prayers DH & I have been doing a lot of research since Monday & slowly getting things in order. We honestly are beginning to feel our case is isolated & that our little JJ will be just fine. We do have a consult on Monday at LIJ with the Dr. Mittler to go over the MRI & see if there is any neurological damage. If we can rule this out, we are most likely looking at the lower end of impact on our little boy.
We just wanted to truly thank everyone for their outpour You guys don't realize how much it means to us!!

Kristen, as I am reading this I found myself crying. I have been with ya since LIW and I know what you wen't through to get pg. You have every single one of my prayers!! I am so sorry that you and DH are going through this.
