Things that you find to be so expensive for no darn good reason?
What do you find to be expensive that you feel shouldn't be?
I always think ink is expensive (the thread on toner provoked this topic) - and I hate whenever I have to buy it.
Sometimes I see lettuce heads for 2.99 a head! Really?!?!
And laundry detergent always seems pricey, too.
What about you?

YES! and FIber 1 is never on sale. I could never spend 5 bucks on a box of cereal that will be gone in like 3 days, if not less.

All things shaving related.
Seriously, razors are too expensive. And shaving cream?? Ridiculous. I use super cheap conditioner and it does a better job.
And batteries, I agree with as well.

I completely agree about the razors. Even at Costco, the Gilette ones are over $2 each!!

More like hit/miss items - one week chicken is $5.49, the next its $1.99.
Kids PJ's...I HATE buying DS PJ's - he sleeps in sweats or cotton shorts in the summer.

We're on a austerity budget in my household
I find EVERYTHING to be expensive for no darn good reason. My latest issue is the Village of Lindenhurst charging me $10.00 for a permit to have a yard sale.

razors! UGH! Drives me nuts!
Also, Milk...$4.00 a gallon in the city ( I know I can always go to Costco, but who has the time or the energy on most days)
Gas, kid's clothes, batteries!
A candy bar is now 1.00! That is crazy too!

I agree on the razors!!
I also spent about 8 bucksrecently on a small sack of grapes!! Granted it was Iavarone, but still!! Makes me feel gulty for not finishing every last one!!

No joke, I was ready for a divorce the other day over over-priced grapes. DH kept harping that he NEEDED grapes. I said if he didn't eat each and every last one, that'd be it!

DH loves icecream and I was going to get him an icecream cake yesterday at DD/Baskin Robbins for his birthday.
$35.99?
I marched out and went to the local bakery and got him a non-icecream cake for $12.95.
I think all fast food/eating out places have gotten expensive though.
I was in DD the other day and the girl wanted to charge me over $7.00 for their processed chicken salad and an ice coffee.
I passed on that too!
It's the same though wherever you go these days. I don't think you can get breakfast take out even for much less than $5.00.

Anything related to pets also.
I have to get my cat special food from the vet for a urinary issue, and it's like $60.00 a bag.
And health insurance. I pay $357.00 a WEEK for that.
It's a shame because I WORK in healthcare too.

how about the gas stations that are charging $4.59/gallon for regular? dont they realize that down the block theres a station selling it for $3.89??

Yes, but if you need gas, they are relying on you having to stop at that moment at their station!
