I think there's a big difference between an unwanted pregnancy and an unplanned one.
It's hard to say what I would do in a similar position, but in all honesty this would be something DH & I would have to decide and work through together. It's not something I would even mention to anyone because I know people would be so judgemental of this circumstance (married, older, financially stable, etc.)
I hope your friend is ok.
