What was your reasoning for switching? I am having a hard time deciding which ones to use.

We used Dr. Browns for about 10 months and then switched to Platex Ventaire about a month ago.

With all the controversy around the plastic bottles I just figured I'd rather just spend the extra money and have piece of mind. I don't feel comfortable using glass and I didn't know Dr. Brown's had BPA free plastic bottles until the other day. I already bought the Born Free so I'll just try them.

Re: Those that bottle feed
What bottles don't we use?
We primarily use the Avents and the Tempos (Avent as well) DS never took to the playtex drop ins and when we went on vacation, I wanted as little mess as possible, so we got the tempos and it worked great.

Re: Those that bottle feed
I use glass and plastic (bpa free) Evenflos, and also the Gerber plastics that are BPA free.

Regardless of drop in or regular bottle.... Buy a mixing pitcher! It makes things sooooooooo much easier, and then u just pour out what you need!

Re: Those that bottle feed
I picked up the Dr. Brown's formula pitcher with mixer inside. I like to make my formula ahead of time and keep it in the fridge so it's always on hand.
I also picked up a Glass Dr. Brown's Bottle and a Glass BornFree Bottle I'll see which one works best.

Re: Those that bottle feed
Playtex Drop In's for both of my kids. Yes, you can mix powder formula in them. I honestly can't be bothered with cleaning a million baby bottle parts like Vent Aires or Dr. Browns.
