Those who did prick allergy testing for their children...
DD started hers today. I was told to watch at home for any further reactions - and to make sure all the dots disappear.
DD had it about 2 pm - around 4 she started getting about 4-5 dots around 2 of the test sites (they were done in 2 lines - and they are around where she had 2 tests done - BUT they are NOT the prick site themselves - closer to where they wrote on her arm and some are closer to the actual prick site.
Did anyone have this happen?? Image Attachment(s):

Hey Christine.. had the prick test done a few times with my youngest and never had that happen even when she does react to the prick its goes away pretty quick and all u see is a shot like mark. It good that you took that pic. i def would call the allergist and tell them.. are they itching her..almost looks like a bug bite but may be a hive

I also do not think it is the prick test and it looks like a bug bite.
This is what DS's reaction looked like. After they did the measurements they applied benedryl cream to it and the spots were gone with in 15 minutes and he wasn't itchy.

Yes thank you- I got hold of her allergist today I had to call him anyway - he saw the pictures and said that it was a reaction.
It definitely was not bug bites - I was with her the whole time and she was sitting with her arms up so as not to scratch it - we were not outside either. She didn't have them before the test - and they were 100% gone by the time she went to sleep last night.

She was tested for a bunch of things 13 in total - yes he said it was a positive reaction - those were 2 things we suspected anyway - AND things that my DH was allergic to as a child. Some of the things we tested for were red long past even the positive histamine tester.
