those who get a real Christmas tree
When do you plan on getting yours this year?
I'm thinking we will wait until next weekend. This weekend I'll probably do my Christmas cards.

Monday.
DH works a rotating schedule and has off Monday, but then doesn't have off again until the following Tuesday and I feel that is a little late.

The 18th, most likely. I like to keep it up until Epiphany, so I don't like to buy it too early. I've already started decorating my house though...

Next Friday, the 11th. We both took the day because we hate going on the weekend, and then we will have the weekend to decorate.
In theory, I am going to put non tree deorations out this weekend, but I have to clean first.

Next weekend, the 13th. It just works best with our schedule, so many things going on! That and the house is tiny, no need to lose the space just yet!

we just bought ours tonight. Usually we would probably wait until next weekend, but Im due 12/24 so we wanted to get it set up a little earlier this year

Same here...plus my apartment is a sauna so it would be dead quickly if I put it up too early.

We put it up on Thursday night (12/3) and decorated it on Friday.... I could not wait any longer!!! I love all the decorations i put out, and i get all depressed when it is over b/c my house looks so empty!
