Ok so I should plan on having it there for up to a year then?! Does scrubbing it with a loofah really help?

I never had one, but I just had to say that your DD looks SO much like you in your avatar pic!!! I can't believe she's already going to be a month old soon!

You think? Everyone is saying that but I don't see it. She's 3 weeks today already, it's crazy!!

If I remember correctly it was almost gone by 8 weeks PP and then it looked like a fading/peeling tan and I scrubbed it with alcohol and it was all gone. Chat Icon

It wasn't until the end of my pregnancy that I really noticed it but I would say it took a few months to go away completely....but it definitely did. Chat Icon

Re: Those who have olive skin and/or had a dark linea negra...

mine was really dark right after delivery, sounds gross but it sort of sheds a couple of times and gets lighter and lighter. By 6 months it was a lot lighter. I'm 10 months PP and it never completely went away, it's now a very faint line. My doctor told me to always put a lot of sunblock on it whenever in the sun because it will make it permanently dark so I've been careful about that.
