Those with open floor plans - question about gates
We have a typical Florida house set-up - large open plan. I feel like gates are not really going to work because we would need something looooong going across whole sections of house. Is our only option those flexible playards to enclose the baby in certain areas rather than block off areas of the house with a gate?
We do have a standard-size hallway we can block with a gate (already have that gate) but as I said, everything else is very open?
Any suggestions?
TIA!

I think Kid Co makes extenders and various shapes.

We have a huge one that we cut off the dining room from the living room for us..it's a summer infant one...I love it..MrsRbk recommended it and it's really been great and it's really really wideGate

I have a very open plan also, and I just left it open, blocked off stairs and babyproofed outlets and the stove.
