Guilty of co-sleeping with my 9 month old when we stayed in a hotel in Florida - I put her in the PNP once she was asleep -

That's a tough one! We are going to be in the same boat in about a week! We are staying in a house in Montauk with 2 other families and I have a bad feeling I am going to be tired the entire trip!

This is what we have always done as well. After that, she never woke up to any sound. She was always scared being somewhere different so I didnt want to "close her off" for lack of better words...but I realize every child is different, especially with their sleep habits.

we just got back from Montauk for a wk....and we were in a one room unit and to top it off it had two skylights!!!!!!!!! yes it couldve gone worse but for the love of God NEVER again....i will always opt for a one bedroom whenever we go on vacation...for op though bc its only two nights and u have a babysitter i wouldnt have gotten a one bedrm either....what i did was for naps and bedtime i put her in her sleepsack and when she fell asleep in my arms, i transferred her to her pnp...nap time wasnt bad bc dh and i would go on the balcony and drink or take a nap with her...but bedtime was hard bc we had to go to sleep or watch some tv at very low volume for a lil while and then go to sleep....it was annoying
i had seen this canopy looking thing on amazon but it was not available when i needed it and plus i found it two days before we were leaving so i didnt have time to try to find it in a store....it had elastic and it fit over the pnp....similar to a crib tent...i think it wouldve worked for my dd if i wouldve had time to find it/buy it

I second camping out in the bathroom! Or I would lay on the floor where DD couldn't see me! The worst was at night when I had to camp out at 8pm and that was it for the night

Too bad she's not older because I threaten Ava with no tv time the next day if she doesn't go to sleep Somehow I don't think that's going to work for you
