Today is my last day of commuting to NYC!!
Today is my last day of work and I start my new job on LI next week!
8 years of commuting - I can't wait to sleep in a little!!

Awwww - but won't you MISS us ????
No more days in the rain/snow/90 degree heat, no more running and throwing yourself into 1/2 closed doors, no more standing all the way home, no more coming down the escalator into Penn and seeing people jam packed b/c 500 trains have just been cancelled ................
We will miss you !!!

It took me 2.5 hours to drive in to my job in the Bronx today - normally takes 45 minutes. Commuting to NYC is such a strain.

I never realized what a quality of life issue it is to commut until just this recently. Losing 2 hours+ of my day is hugely taxing now with a child!
