Tongue Tied

Does anyone know a surgeon in western Suffolk/Eastern Nassau (I'm on the border) to have my sons tongue fixed? I did get a recommendation from the ped., but want one that someone has used with great results. My son is now 11 1/2 weeks, but it's obvious that it's tied and I want to get it fixed now so he won't remember anything.

Yes, Doctor Elizabeth Coryllis in Mineola. She is a godsend. I don't have her number handy, but she is a wonderful doctor. Google her.

Re: Tongue Tied

I wouldn't recommend the dr. we went to.

But, I agree - it's much better to get it done earlier!! We had my sons snipped at 2 months.

I also used Dr. Elizabeth Coryllis! I think it's spelled either Coryllos or Coryllis.

She is actually retired and just does tongue tie procedures by appointment only. She is the former Chief of Pediatric Surgery at Winthrop, and specializes in this area... she's done research on the impact of tongue-tie on breastfeeding and stuff.

Very very nice, smart doctor and the procedure was so quick and easy with her.
