Toys R Us return policy
Did they ever change their return policy or do you still need a receipt to return anything?

I did "start" there 
It doesn't mention anything about not having a receipt. That is why I was asking here, to see if anyone had any recent experiences there.

When i called, they said no they don't return without a receipt. And the TRU express stores won't accept anything with a receipt if they don't carry it at that specific location!!!

I'm pretty sure you still cant return something witrhout a receipt....which is such a huge PITA.

I know at BRU if u bought something with your rewards card they can look it up in the system if u dont have a receipt. TRU will prob do the same thing since Im pretty sure its the same rewards card. HTH!

I don't even bother to try. It's hard enough to return stuff there when you have a receipt!
I'd rather take it to places that have easier return policies like BBB or Target.

I was just at TRU today. For about a week after Christmas, they will take returns without a receipt but you will get the lowest selling price.

Yes..dh worked for TRU for 5 years and this is the one week where you can return stuff no questions asked, no receipts. You will get the lowest price recorded for the item though.
