Trader Joe's flops?
What are some things you have bought from there that you have not liked at all?
I picked up a container of their Pumpkin Spice coffee last night and am having it right now. Have to say, I don't think I really like it.
It tastes pretty similar to their pumpkin spice tea and I think the spices in it are just way too overpowering.
Someone on Twitter warned me last night when I posted that I had picked it up. I'm so disappointed because it smelled so good.

we needed a quick dinner one night and bought a frozen pork tenderloin entree meal. It was inedible. Terrible. Like we each took one bite and spit it out. tried a second and spit it out. decided to order dominos.

The Chocolate Cat Cookies aren't chocolatey at all!!! In fact they taste kind of weird.
DH bought these frozen meatloaf muffins with mashed potato "frosting" once and said they were gross. Honestly though, I don't really blame TJ's for that one-- the concept sounds disgusting 
Once I bought frozen mini pepperoni pizzas. Not sure if I bought a spoiled batch or if it was just gross by nature, but the pepperoni tasted rancid. It literally made me gag.
I have had zero luck with their "fresh" meat. The chicken always smells bad, I won't even buy it anymore. I bought this marinated carne asada beef once that tasted great but was REALLY tough (especially considering it was marinated).

You SHOULD blame TJ's. I make turkey meatloaf cupcakes with mashed potato frosting; they're delicious and low calorie.

Trader Joe's flops?
The BBQ chicken meal wasn't great, but I'm not a fan of dark meat and didn't realize it until I got home.
The pumpkin waffles were just eh. I didn't taste a whole lot of pumpkin in there.
I love the website whatsgoodattraderjoes.com because they rate the newer stuff and they rate it honestly.

The mini rice balls.... Terrible
I've bought raw chicken breasts and the smell was awful I wound up not making them.
The frozen grilled asparagus.... Terrible.... The smell was horrible.

I was going to say the same thing! I make these at home and they're so good!! And my DD loves that it looks like a cupcake!

I think the frozen pancakes and waffles taste terrible. I also thought theirfish stick nuggets were very greasy.

Their chicken pot pie. It was so dry, there was no gravy in it just a gloppy, gluey mess.

I tried mixing the coffee today with regular coffee and it was still gross to the point it was making me feel sick. I think I'm going to have to throw it out.
What is their return policy like? I don't have the receipt and they are out of the way but I hate to just throw it out. I want to say this was at least $6 or $7.

Trader Joe's flops?
TJs will take it back without a receipt, since their stuff is all branded on the package it's not like it could have come from somewhere else.
We tried the sweet potato tater tots, they weren't good. Well - they weren't bad, but they weren't tater tots.

The Deep Dish Frozen Pizza was a big disappointment.
Also not thrilled with their lemon turnovers from bakery section- very doughy not at all lemony.

Tried and absolutely hated
- chicken lime burgers
- sweet & sour chicken
- meatloaf muffins
- a beef tenderloin marinated in a burbon sauce (i think)
Basicaly, all of the above was just plain out nasty!! The tenderloin didn't even get cooked, because as soon as I opened the package I wanted to vomit. It smelled HORRIBLE!
I avoid all of their products that have any type of meat in it. Funny thing is lately I have been coming across a lot of other people who feel the same way.
Honestly, I liked it in the beginning, but the more items I have tried from reading people's posts on here and just general recommendations - I'm not that impressed with their stuff. Most of their producted have an 'accuired' taste to them.

Honestly, a lot of their items remind me of the same old processed stuff you would buy at the grocery store, except it's in TJ packaging named something catchier where you "want" to buy it.

I got sick from their frozen vegetable gyoza but we really like their chicken burgers, never had an issue.

And whoever doesnt like the rice balls is crazy!!! I love them

I buy the frozen fruit to make protein smoothies. The mixed fruit package, I am realizing there is some hard specs in there that is not pits from the fruit. I don't know what it is. I threw out the bag yesterday and will buy my fruit elsewhere now.
