true? white vinegar for hardwood?
the floor guy said to use warm water with a tiny bit of white vinegar to clean hardwood floors. true? or what do you suggest? tia!!!

It works great - white vinegar is a natural disinfectant

when you do this...is it like a cup in a bucket of water or so? also do you use a dry mop after or let air dry? tyy

Yes, that is the best product for wood floors. I do about half a cup of vinegar with half a bucket of water. Make sure to ring the mop out really well, you shouldn't have excess water sitting on the floor. You can dry the floor with a soft towel, it gets rid of the streaks. HTH!

This is what my cleaning ladies have been doing and it sparkles. We used to use Murphy's oil but I'm noticing such a difference with the vinegar.

I don't use a dry mop after. I ring out the mop really well before doing the floor.
They dry pretty fast.
Also it's safer to use with kids and pets.
