TTCer Crashing....doc question...
Hi Ladies...
I'm looking to change my current doc (LI womens health care) and wanted to know if anyone had feedback on these docs or any others on the south shore area (merrick - massapequa)
Dr. Annette Baggott
Dr. Stephanie Buck-Haskin
Dr. Kathleen O'Conner

hey girl. no feedback on those docs but i go to hanauer in garden city on old country road and love her!!!! she is one of the best doctors i have ever been to. and theres only one other male dr in the practice so its not like a factory where theres 10 doctors and you see who you see...

I LOVE Dr. Annette Baggott. I go to Horizon OB/GYN in RVC. She was my gyno but once i got pregnant I had to go to her associates (she no longer delivers), Dr. Carolyn Oh (she is so nice...i really like her) and Dr. Edmund Tomlinson (he's really nice too).
I am very happy with the office. The nurses and the people that work at the front desk are so helpful and sweet....and dont seen to get annoyed when crazy preggers like myself call with stupid questions.

Hey Jenna, also, try University Plaza OB in Garden City. I see Dr. Rosenberg, great practice with a fantastic staff. They deliver at Winthrop GOOD LUCK, hope to see you over here SOOOON!

Dr. Oh delivered DS last year and Dr. Tomlinson delivered DD a couple weeks ago. I love them both! I never see/saw Dr. Baggott because as AP said she doesn't do deliveries. Everyone is really friendly there and I couldn't be happier with the practice! No question is too stupid for them to answer.

I did deliver at South Nassau both times and the care was excellent! DS was in the NICU last year and the nurses and neonatologist took really good care of DS. My experience there with DD a couple weeks ago was fantastic. While DH was downstairs in admitting, one of the nurses was nice enough to stay with me in L&D to give me support through the contractions. After DD was born, the nurses did not pressure me and respected my wishes not to give DD any formula, not even for supplementing. They let me BF her on demand and were very supportive. They were very friendly and came anytime I needed them. My night nurse, Pat, was friendly to chat with and helped me whenever I had problems. (Her kids are about the same age apart as my kids so she was full of advice about siblings.) No issue was too dumb to ring the call buzzer about, especially in the middle of the night. The LCs gave me good tips and came as often as I needed them to help with BF'ing DD. I've called the LCs one or two times after I came home and they were quick to get back to me to answer questions. If I have another child, I will definitely be delivering again in South Nassau.
Oh...and having all private rooms with free wifi are perks that I cannot complain about!
