turning the clocks behind. (experienced moms)
How long does it take to get back on schedule? and how do i do it?
What should i expect Sunday?? ( a tired infant?)
IF DD normally gets up at 730am does that mean she wil wake now at 630?? thanks

Re: turning the clocks behind. (experienced moms)
I did find with DD that changing the clocks screwed her up for about a week but she was never a good sleeper anyway. I think every baby is different, so you'll probably just have to wait and see. GOOD LUCK!

No experience here, but I'm just thrilled we're turning the clocks back the weekend before I return to work.

Our DC adjust faster than DW and I do. They also adjusted faster than DW and I when we went to Oregon this year, which is 3 hours off.

However, I'm doing it all over again with the new baby this weekend...I'm nervous!!!

Re: turning the clocks behind. (experienced moms)
I've never had a problem before with changing the clocks. BUT, my kids stay up later in the evening (bedtimes around 9 or even later) and they sleep in until 9 usually.

since halloween, we have been keeping him up a bit later each night - hopefully that will help us ease into it. I hate day this since being a mom!

Uggh I hate changing the clocks period! Especially going back an hour because now it means it will get darker out sooner...

Re: turning the clocks behind. (experienced moms)
This will be our 3rd daylight savings time of turning the clocks back and I think it only took a few days for her to adjust both times. It really wasn't much of a big deal.
Don't sweat it too much!

Re: turning the clocks behind. (experienced moms)
I know I'm not "that experienced" yet, but Marron didn't really have a hard time last year. I told DH to keep her up an hour later last night. We'll see what happens...

Re: turning the clocks behind. (experienced moms)
They were off for about a day or two. If you're overly concerned, for today adjust their naps by a half hour today & a full hour tomorrow.
