UGH spotting started this morning
So I had one day of joy yesterday with my bfp, followed by what is becoming a day of anxiety!! I guess this is my body's way of reminding me of my miscarriage, I started spotting this morning, it's very light & faint and brownish, but god I hope this is not another miscarriage on the way, I can't help but feel scarred from the first pregnancy, I am feeling so pessimistic....please say a prayer that this is not a bad sign for me!!!

I had a MC in August and I am so afraid of spotting during my next BFP because of that anxiety too.  :

Well part of the problem is im seeing a new doctor on march 1st....I changed practices, they have a few ob/gyn's at this new practice, maybe I can call and tell them I don't care who I see and maybe they can fit me in earlier....

You can probably just go in for bloodwork to check that levels are rising. I've never seen a doctor for blood and you usually don't even need an appointment. Best of luck!

ok just got off the phone with them.....they can't see me before february 27th and the receptionist said they wont be able to do anything for me b/c im a new patient, she recommended going to my old practice if I need bloodwork done now (nice).

Would your PCP do you a favor and send you for the blood work? Sometimes mine will help me out if I can't get an appointment at my other specialists just to ease my mind.

I had spotting with both of my pregnancies. With my daughter I needed to take progesterone. I hope it is nothing!

I would call back and make sure you speak with a nurse and tell them your history, there is no reason why you should have to wait. And if they can't get you in, I would look for a new practice who can get you in when you need it.

thanks this is so stressful!! I had researched a lot of LIF posts and thought I had found a new doctor I'd be happy with. this stinks.
I did just have a thought though, I'm taking my mom to the gynecologist on Friday morning (she no longer does OB work though), do you think it would be strange if I asked her doctor to do bloodwork for me? I wonder if they'd give me a hard time since I'm not her patient and I don't have an appt there....

yea I used to go to a PCP regularly, but you just CAN'T get appts w/ her anymore even if you're dying lol....so for the last few years I've only been going to a doc in the neighborhood who's basically a walk in, very nice older man, but I only go to him for sinus infections and such, nothing major. I could try going there, but they close by 5 every day and I'm stuck at work.....so maybe I'll go on Saturday (they're open 7 days a week). I feel so lost on what to do, sit around & wait just doesn't seem like a smart option!

Hmm not sure that your moms gyn would do this if you arent a patient. Maybe contact planned parenthood and see if they will see you for bloodwork today? i know they have later hours then most doctors do

honestly, i would just go to a walk in place that does blood work and have it done 
ive had my thyroid levels checked at an urgent care because my MD wouldnt give me an appointment for weeks.
