honestly, i would just go to a walk in place that does blood work and have it done 
ive had my thyroid levels checked at an urgent care because my MD wouldnt give me an appointment for weeks.
Thanks, maybe I'll just do that and try to stay calm the next few days. I just started researching another ob/gyn practice (Great Neck ob/gyn, the other practice I was going to try that can't fit me in until 2/27 is the Ann & Jules Gottlieb Women's Center in Manhasset).

I would go to a walk in place also, just to get the blood work done, at least you will know if you need progesterone or something like that. Good luck!!

Did you have a falling out with your old practice or are you leaving for other reasons? If you're not against it, I would try going to them just for the bloodwork and you can always switch over to another practice. I would go sooner than later in case you need progesterone. Keep us posted!

I sucked it up and gave them a call....they can fit me in on Friday at 11:15!!  so even if I have no intention of staying w/ them if this is a viable pregnancy at least I'll have some peace of mind. I'll keep you all posted after the appointment! thanks for all your sticky dust & prayers!!!

very little so far, so that's reassuring, but now I am already analyzing every little twinge in my stomach thinking cramping is coming next  it is a sucky feeling to be so anxious right now even if everything turns out to be ok.

you could always take a line HPT and see if the line is dark or light, but that's not particularly diagnostic and open to a million interpretations so your best bet is to wait for bloodwork.
also to all who posted, im not sure about this one but i dont think you can just walk in to a lab and request a beta. i think you need an RX. where else would they send the results first off, and second, they wouldnt do it stat so it could be days before you would get the results anyway, at which point you would still need a second beta.
to the OP.. good luck, spotting can def be normal.

thank you so much for your input!! I took a line HPT when I got home from work, it seems darker than yesterday morning's line test, but it's still not dark/dark. I'm going to take another in the AM w/ FMU (since this was after work and I had already peed like 1.5-2 hours prior). The spotting increased a bit tonight and my stomach feels a little weird, but it could be the anxiety I'm causing myself!! I just have to get through the next 24 hours until I can get bloodwork and hopefully breathe a big sigh of relief!

i just saw this! Saying prayers for you!!!! I would have sent you to my doctor in Bayside because I know they will take you for a blood test right away even if you are a new patient but it seems like you have a good plan already. awww thank you! who is your doctor in Bayside?
her name is Dr. Randi Rothstein and she is from a practice called North Shore Obsterics and Gynecology. There are other doctors who have also gotten wonderful reviews in the same office. She was wonderful!!!!!!!
718-224-5800. Right across from the Bay terrace shopping center. The front desk is also really nice and wouldnt rush you off if you explained to them everything

Ok visit went relatively ok, but I wont know for sure probably until Monday when I go back for more bloodwork to compare to the blood drawn today.
So good news is she didn't see any blood on my cervix, and my uterus lining is very thick which she said was good,.....but they didn't actually see anything in my uterus.....not necessarily a bad thing (yet) b/c even though my LMP was Jan 9th , im only 14/15 dpo today.....so it could be very small, and the sono tech thought maybe it could still even be in the midst of impplanting??(which I would think its late for that....but maybeshe was just trying to be reassuring). So I may be able to get my blood test results tomorrow, but I'm not sure whether I'll know if anything is good or bad without having anything to compare it to. She mentioned the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy but hopefully that wont be the case for me. I am surprisingly calm today and going out shopping with my mom to keep my mind busy (she doesn't know anything that's going on).....so hopefully that means my day goes by fast and I can look forward to the results in the AM! Excuse any typos please...I'm updating from my phone! Thanks for all your thoughts girls!!!

oh she also said I ovulated on the left side, not that that means anything lol (I don't think?)And I hhave a tilted uterus, which I don't know why no one said that to me whhen I had the D&C?
