I thought I was just feeling dizzy because Im almost 39 weeks pregnant. Im in Virginia and they just evacuated our building. We are back inside now and everything is fine but that scared the cr@p out of me.

My floor shook like I was in a bouncy house. I'm in midtown, on the 40th floor though.
DH called to tell me that the bus depot in College Point was evacuated to check for gas leaks. Doesn't help either that the building was built on a swamp.

I felt it too...my DH was home with me and didn't feel anything...he was too busy making fun of me for thinking that it was an actual earthquake!

I felt it in Rocky Point.
My neighbors are having trees taken down across the street and the houe was shaking all day. But this was different. My daughter was freaking out.
I actually thought it was pretty cool. I never thought I'd feel an earthquake!

So happy I'm not in my 33rd floor office!!! But totally felt it on my patio in Bellmore. I was on the phone w my mom and I'm like are we having an earthquake???? She is like ' um I'm shaking!!!'

Me too! First I thought it was in my head, then I was actually hoping that it was a sign of impending labor. The shaking lasted at least 30 seconds, or that's how it felt.

I was in my basement, I missed it!! I guess if it was worse I was in a good place. My Mother was the one who told me the windows were shaking. My DH is at the town pool (Massapequa) with my kids and they didn't feel anything...my DS is going to be so disappointed that he missed it.
So is the end of the world coming? Kidding aside I always worry about that when freaky stuff happens

We evacuated our building (only two stories, but we were still shaking quite a bit).
I donated blood this morning, and was fine for several hours. I thought I was feeling faint... until everything started shaking and other people felt it too.
