Re: Ummm...please tell me you felt that too?
So glad I'm not the only one who thought I was dizzy! I had a headache & had been having dizzy spells all day. I was on the phone at work with someone in south jersey & i heard him say "what! Where was the earthquake?!" as I hung up. I was thinking I got up from my desk & stepped into the stairwell to head to lunch. The stairs were shaking. I thought I was dizzy again & figured I shouldn't take the stairs because that felt a whole lot stronger than I'd felt all day so I turned around & got on the elevator instead. In the 2 minutes it took to heat my lunch, they decided to evacuate the building. That's the first I realized it wasn't a dizzy spell!
Even thoughtI heard someone say "earthquake" it never occurred to me! It makes sense now because it occurred in VA & it was prob less than 30 sec between when I hung up the phone & stepped on the stairs, but who would've thought?

I was in my basement, I missed it!! I guess if it was worse I was in a good place.
Nooooooooo............ that's not a good place to be in an earthquake.
Yes..my 8 year old set me straight later on. Apparently it would have been a GREAT place - if a bomb was dropped by the Red Baron.
