Update & WWYD?

Its been a while since I posted any updates on myself so…
The night before I left for Florida I believed to be having BH. My stomach got all hard and uncomfortable plus every once and a while it felt like gas pains across my stomach. So I kept sitting down for a while…I wasn’t in any pain or anything so I just kept trying to do things around the house. After about an hour I lied down and had some water. It wasn’t coming and going my stomach just felt like a hard basket ball (it didn’t come n go just felt hard the whole time) after a while I called dh to tell him. I guess it went on for over 3 hours I was going to call the dr but I had my 1 hr test in the am anyway…then flying to FL

Next morning took the test and was telling the dr what happened. He basically told me it didn’t sound like BH because it was continuous for over 2 hours (more like preterm labor) and the next time it happens for longer the 2 hrs to call him. He said I was fine to fly and just the minute I feel it stop and sit if it continues lay down on L and drink water if still continues call him. (oh I passed my test)

Florida was great..I did have to lay down a few time but it always went away. I seem to get BH at least once a day some days more then others depending on what I do. I did have it happen one more time where I hit the 2 hr mark but I feel asleep and woke up fine. Although now I am paranoid and when I got back from Fl I went to work for one appt & was having BH the entire time so I decided it was time to stop…not exactly happy about it but I really have no choice..nothing is worth the risk!

Now Im basically home, board and feel useless cause I cant seem to do a ¼ of the stuff I want to do here!

Now for the WWYD question…dh family goes upstate every year in July (seeing as Im due in July that’s out). They are all planning on going up Memorial Day weekend and keep asking if Im going. Im really not sure I’ll be 31 weeks, it takes about 3 ½ - 4 hrs to get there normally. I cant do anything while Im there (they all go riding quads and having fun)I’ll be stuck sitting w/my MIL. I told them I don’t think its recommended to travel more then 2hrs away from dr after 30 weeks (I think I read that somewhere) but I keep getting pressured to go. MIL telling me everything she did while prego. I really just dont want to get stuck sitting there while everyone else is having fun. I could stay home and be more comfortable here and be bored. I guess my question is how do you tell them you dont want to go without being rude.

Sorry this was longer then I though. I don’t know if this was a vent, a question, a update or just showing my boredom!

i would ask your doctor. however it were me i wouldnt especially if you are having signs of preterm labor. i wouldnt go an hour away from your hospital. but thats jmo, if you doctor said its fine, and your comfortable about going then go.

If I didn't feel well enough to go to work, I wouldn't go on vacation 4 hours away.

I get BH most days at work and just ignore them though.

It doesn't matter what your MIL, me or anyone else did while they were pregnant. At 30 weeks you are having preterm labor. I wouldn't go.
