Can I ask a question...Has DS always been a good sleeper up until he started having terrors? I ask because DD has never been a great sleeper, still wakes in the middle of the night crying but usually puts herself back to sleep, but the other night had a bizarre episode, very similar to what you described. She was hysterical, screaming, kicking, I swear it seemed like she was possessed and it took a good 45 minutes to get her calmed down and back to sleep.
