i have a history of encounters with Ghosts. They seem to like me for some reason.
I lived in a VERY haunted apartment in San Francisco, the whole building was haunted but my apartment got it the worst. My roommate and I had big problems with this ghost, but he was obsessed with me. He would say my name, blow in my ear. At night he would get into the face of my roommate and make chopping noises in the kitchen. There are so many stories I can't even write them all out!
We could some times calm him down by talking to him and asking him to leave us alone. So if this is in fact her grandpa I am sure he will leave her alone if you ask.
I'm sorry... but how did you not sh*t yourself on a regular basis?????
Thats what i wanna know!!! All these stories are freakin me out man!!!

I do believe it. In fact, DD was awake for 2 hours in the middle of the night last night. She was laughing like crazy and chatting and playing. She'd be silent for a while and then burst out laughing again. I was lying in bed listening to her through the monitor and thinking that maybe she was seeing a dear lady - a woman who was a second mother to me - who loved DD so much but passed away in October when DD was 10 months old. It doesn't freak me out at all and actually made me feel good that maybe they're getting to spend some time together now in their own way. I know that might make me sound crazy but hey - it is what it is.
But to the PP from San Fran - THAT would freak me out!! :)
But yes, I definitely believe!

UPDATE:
DH was just putting DD to sleep. He was sitting down on our sofa bed we keep in her room and all of a sudden the overhead light went on by itself!!!!
Even he is a bit freaked out right now.
He told whoever it was to leave her alone. I wanna get an exorcist or whatever now!!!

 Sorry I just saw this. It definitely got very freaky, and my roommate thought I was nuts when I told her he would say my name and blow in my ear. That was until we were in the bathroom changing area getting ready and she heard him say it.
He would unlock our doors and open them. When I was dating the guy who lived below us he would jump up and down in my apartment, when we knew for a fact no one was home because my roommate was out of town.
She and I never spent the nights alone in the apartment out of fear of him.
I could seriously write a whole book about that apartment building and my apartment. We had some crazy stuff happen there.
Up on the top floor, multiple people would see what they called the landlord run through the hallways.

I totally believe in this stuff.
My oldest nephew who is now 9 was the only great-grandchild my grandfather lived to see....my nephew was around 9 mos old when he died.
I don't remember at what age my nephew was...but it was when he could speak...my sister would hear him whispering in his carseat...she'd ask who he was talking to and he said GG (GG is what we always referred to our grandfather to him as)....I really do believe in this stuff.
No idea how you should handle it though...sorry.

I def. believe in this stuff as well. DS is still so young, but I'm seeing tons that he is seeing someone.... he's 16 months. From day ONE he would stare at this one corner of our living room and making his first cooing noises staring there. To this day, I see him 'talking' to the corner, and smiling. Sometimes when he's doing something bad and I say no, I catch him look at the corner, smile, shake his head no, laugh like crazy, and then get down. It's almost as if my Dad is making a joke and trying to get him down...and he listens! Another time... I have this stork hanging high above DSs crib....and without the fan on and NO way for it to move, I have seen it's wings flap. I have SOO many stories! I swear it's my Dad... and I make sure to show DS pics of him all the time and talk to him about him. I wish I could see him too.
Sorry I have no advice.

So as I'm reading this, holding DD while DS is lying next to me (putting them to bed), DS sits straight up and points to the far corner of the ceiling and starts whining.
Background: DH's dad died suddenly right before DS turned 1...Thursday would have been his bday and we are going to the cemetery tomorrow to visit him.
Sometimes the music table he gave DS randomly plays a tune..and both DS and DD have laughed at nothing, usually while looking up, since they were babies So between this and all these ghost stories, I am officially freaked out.
