Update- new update 11/6
Well, Lillies...you called it....
Twins! My beta has been tripling in 48 hr periods & my progesterone has been high... And today there were 2 sacs on my sono screen! I'm 5 weeks today... Hoping to see 2 fetal poles next week!
Just 3 weeks ago, I was told that my ovarian reserve was hopeless. I was beyond devastated. It just goes to show that anything is possible!
Update 10/30-bittersweet day. We have one baby... The other was a "vanishing twin". The baby we have has a heartbeat. The yolk sac looked good too. We are so sad that there's only one but grateful that he/she is looking strong.
Update 11/6 - Baby looks great! Measuring right on time....7w1d. Heartrate of 134. I am so relieved!

There is so much misinformation, even with RE's about low AMH, I wish RE's wouldn't rush to scare their patients.

This exactly. I was told in April that I had no chance, even with IVF at conceiving and we should just prepare ourselves. Then I get pregnant with this healthy baby girl. I hate that DOR girls are pushed aside and treated like this. I only had luck getting pregnant with IUI (chemicals) and this natural cycle ironically bc IVF meds would ruin my quality and mess with my ovaries. I wish Drs would study this more!

And YES! I tried IVF three times last year. After my third, my dr at RS of NY told me that due to my AMH, I had a 7% CHANCE of conceiving, even with IVF. Since then, I've conceived twice...this time with twins. Neither was with IVF. He just didn't want to look into why I wasn't conceiving.
I am currently with Dr. Kofinas, who found autoimmune issues with extensive testing. He was leery of my ovarian reserve but kept trying medicated cycles of TI with me, switching things up each time. He believed I could get pregnant, and he is the reason I am.
Don't give up if a doctor tells you that your ovarian reserve is crap....because it's still totally possible to conceive.

Thank you! And thankfully, it stopped days ago. I read that spotting can occur with twins, but I never believed I had them!

Yeay good news! I also had bleeding when I had a BFP recently but great to know all can turn out well  Congrats again!

I have an AMH of .03!!! And that was two years ago, who knows what it is now, my RE didn't even bother checking. I am now pregnant with my 3 child, and pregnant 5 times total. AMH is a great indicator for how you will react to IVF, but if you are young, even with a low AMH you can fall pregnant. My RE and her partner actually have blogs they write about the misinformation of AMH. It is one of their pet peeves is how RE's treat patients with low AMH. RE's rush low AMH girls into donor eggs so their stats stay up. I could on and on about this topic. It is something that really upsets me.
But congrats again to OP for the twins!
