Update on us
So our twin girls were born on April 27th (32 weeks) completely unexpectedly! I went in for routine testing on Tuesday and unbeknownst to me I was contracting and dilating! I was admitted for monitoring and given every route to try to stop the contractions but kept breaking through, again felt nothing. Finally around 8:00 a.m. Wed morning I jumped from 2 to 5 cm in an hour and we were prepped to deliver!
Abigail Kennedy was born at 8:58 weighing 3 lbs 5 oz
Sophia Grace was born 8:59 weighing 4 lbs 3 oz
It's been hard to be home without them but I am back and forth 2x a day and each day the girls are making progress which has been comforting. We are hoping that they can both come home within 2 weeks! It's been quite the roller coaster ride but all my girls keep me going! Thank you for all the well wishes and Leslie thank you for updating for me!!

Congratulations!! As a mom of preemies I know what you went through witht hem coming so early, mine were born at 30 weeks. They are beautiful and I LOVE their names (I have an Abigail and her middle name is Grace.)
They will amaze you with their progress every day!
Lots of  that they are able to come home as soon as possible!

Mia, they are sooo beautiful! I can't wait to watch them grow! They are doing so well and so are you! I can't wait for our trips to the beach this summer with ALL our girls!  All 6 of them between us! Keep us updated on their progress and post pics!

OMG they are precious! Congratulations. I too am a preemie mom...boys born at 31wks 6days. Keep your head up as these little ones are resilient and a lot stronger than we think! Prayers to you for a speedy NICU journey!

Congrats!! As a mother of a preemie born at 32 weeks I know the hurt & pain you feel to leave your dear little ones at the hospital. But I can assure you that the time passes quickly & once they are home, those memories are just that!
