thank god!! glad she is feeling better. but why was the doc going to send her for a spinal tap. a 100.8 fever is not very high. my 8 week old had a fever of 102 and a spinal tap was never ever mentioned. i was just wondering. so glad it all worked out.
Because it was an underarm reading she thought her actual temp was 101.8. AND I think 8 weeks is the cutoff for automatic trip to the ER if there is a high fever - not sure why, but she said that was why they give the DTAP vaccine at 8 weeks - b/c a side effect of DTAP is a fever and they don't want to have to rush her to the ER if she gets that particular side effect. I think it has to do with the development of her circulatory system or something like that.

im just so glad it didnt come to any of that. now you can relax and have a great mothers day!!
